Lickweed plays the Shaolin Shakedown at Happy Palace

Forged from solid rock in the Gravel Pit outside of Auckland that the Wu Tang Clan made famous, Buck Rogers began his quest at age three which would eventually lead him to the mysterious Shaolin DJ school on Mount Song in Henan Province and a legend was born.

Honing his skills on the 1s & 2s in front of rowdy monks with all manner of weaponry at the ready, Australian audiences are no match for this grand master and his band of dumpling eating, beer swilling misfits.

Having left China at the age of 21, Buck is now in Melbourne eager to demonstrate the art of Shaolin record spinning for everyone each Saturday night at Happy Palace along side his traveling band of turntable assassins.

It has been reported that traveling toward Melbourne on horseback for this most auspicious opening will be fellow crew members TOM SHOWTIME, CUTIZEN.COM, LICKWEED and KEVIN X PERRY

Hip hop, dub, funk, grooves, beats and other niceness each Saturday night from 7pm.

$7 spicy chicken ribs & $5 basic spirits every week 7-9pm
