Twisted Audio residents play Deliverance Festival in NSWPosted: Wednesday, November 21st, 2012
We are very proud to have some of our resident artists perform at this year’s Deliverance Festival in NSW taking place from the 14th – 17th of December, representing Twisted Audio will be Dysphemic & Miss Eliza, Lickweed and SK MC.
Deliverance is a limited ticket invitational Arts and Bass Music Gathering held in a venue fairly unique in Australia. Situated in the great dividing range of Northern NSW, we’ve found a site with a few features we think makes this a perfect long term home for our event.
Our dream is to create a long-term, community-focused, fun, creative outlet for cutting-edge music, art, and culture. We believe that when many creative minds are in one place, magic happens. Deliverance is intended to encourage this gathering of spirits, and through collaboration with other like minded events which share similar ethics and goals, work toward a greater, global goodness.
Deliverance aims to showcase diverse, futuristic and unique styles of electronic music, all in the the beauty of the Australian outdoors. Our primary guests are those who create art or music themselves: Those who are into interesting sound design, exploration, collaboration, and the sharing of concepts and ideas through sonic, visual, and other means.
We don’t favor any musical genre over another and plan to always bring you a broad range of sonic goodness – selected both locally and from the global underground.
In each of our ‘micro-scenes’ here in Australia, there are scores of brilliant, creative people. We are all into tons of different musical styles and a variety of other expressive/art styles. Deliverance remains a single stage event in the hope that having all you amazing people in the same space, for the entire event, will once again create something unforgettable for us all to share.

Audio’s first experience with electronic music was in the Early 90′s with the Colin Dale and Colin Favour radio shows on Kiss 100. He was instantly hooked, and when, a few years later, the classic “Wormhole” LP on Virus recordings was released, there was no turning back and he embraced the underground family that we know and love as, Drum and Bass.
Inspired to start Djing, non-stop record buying and mixing followed, and he was soon playing at local illegal raves around London. Production was the next logical step for him, experimenting with various pieces of hardware over the next few years.
After a chance meeting, Audio was handed a CD with the programs Acid 1.0 and Reason 1.0, and from that moment things dramatically changed. soon afer he began releasing tracks and getting a buzz around him, From this Audio became the main produder behind Resonant Evil and went on to have releases on Renegade Hardware, G2 , Outbreak and Moving Shadow, this also lead to many opportunities DJing across Europe.
Moving to present day,Audio has joined Dylan’s fiendish family and has become a member of the Freak / Anger Management & Therapy Sessions cult and has been concentrating purely on his solo material, bringing His own special brand of twisted techy darkness that has been consistently demolishing dance floors all over the UK and Europe!
With some of the most highly anticipated releases scheduled for Freak Recordings, released now is the monster 12″Freak 021 “Warehouse”/”Destroyed” one of the biggest singles of the year, forthcoming is his debut EP ” Designed For War” (Freak026ep) he recently just released a track on Subtitles “Missing”a remix of Tech Itch & Jakes “Retribution”, and a remix of BSE’s “The Cooler” Recently he collaborated on a killer with Dylan, more info on that coming soon..big things!
Audio is currently dj’ing all over europe and is a resident at the infamous “Therapy Sessions” parties worldwide, it is hopeless to resist this Bad Seed!

Mixed Messages – everything far and in between
these sounds represent All City Bass music, And here is the lineup that shows you exactly what a party with these crews sounds like:
Born in Fiji, raised in New Zealand and forged in the dance music revolution of 90 s London, FreQ Nasty started his career in 1998 on the seminal UK label Botchit & Scarper, moving to SKINT Records in 2003. He went on to release a slew of cutting-edge records, collaborating with and remixing a diverse range of artists including Fatboy Slim, Kelis, KRS One, Roots Manuva, Rodney P, Bassnectar, and Reggae legend Junior Delgado.
James’ first release happened thanks to a hook up with Dom Angus (Dom & Roland) though their parents who are friends and colleagues. The result was the 2004 ‘Vega EP’ on Moving Shadow. It was well received but unfortunately the seminal label stopped releasing music and it was another two years before James found another home with the legendary Ram Records.
Impressed by the production skills displayed on the Vega EP, Andy C followed the progress of the young producer and ended up signing him to his label, with the first track ‘The Bypass’ appearing on 2006′s Dimension EP and getting tongues wagging on the scene.
An-Ten-Nae is one of San Francisco’s most sought after DJs and live performers. He has taken the art of live remixing to new heights with his own customized setup, that bends genres in ways seldom heard. This sound is called Acid Crunk and there are no rules, no restraints in its quest for pure dance floor devastation.
Besides DJ’ing and producing electronic music for over 10 years on a wide collection of esteemed labels, Adam Ohana has also been an instrumental part of the underground music culture in SF. From being the Music director at of San Francisco’s largest Club venue 1015 Folsom, to his production company called An*Ten*Nae Presents. These events helped break a lot of artists in Bass oriented music on the west coast, including Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Rusko, Modeselektor and Tipper to name a few.
Dov is the person behind Muti Music, a selector at heart, compulsively picking tunes for record labels and for your dancing / listening pleasure.
He produces everything from Dubstep to various downtempo, midtempo and uptempo Breaks and also receiving accolades for collaborations with An-ten-nae and ill.Gates. His sound when performing represents that of a whole movement of young producers coming out on his Muti Music imprint and adds directions that you know are going to emerge more in the future.
A savage synth wizard and mad beat scientist who brings bass to life, Eprom infuses his music with such raw energy, sense of movement and love of the bounce that it almost becomes human. Named over and over by other top West Coast producers as an influence and inspiration, this respected San Francisco-based artist is making a profound impact on the evolution of modern sound.
Fusing psychedelic space machine murderation, polytemponic neurocrunk and heavy-handed pleasure, Eprom creates obese ogres of bass. His mutated music is so full and rounded that it is holographic; such a massive sound requires multiple dimensions to fully express its brilliant colors and diversely accumulated weight.
Vandal is an alias of Sheffield based DJ and producer Sam Evans, an alter ego that has spent the 11 years producing global underground anthems and vandalising dancefloors all over planet Earth. In Vandal Sam has created an electronic act that effortlessy fuses together various genres whilst still retaining his own unique sound. The praise and support for Vandal music over the years has come from some of the most important djs in dance music. The electronic loving public have shown serious love for the Vandal, resulting in tens of thousands of vinyl, cd and download sales and invites to dj in some of the most respected venues in club land and share bill with some of the biggest djs in the world.
